Analysis of factors contributing to competitiveness of Indian auto-component sector

were traced to develop an overall understanding about the industry. Further, extensive literature
survey was carried out to understand the concept of competitiveness and empirical study of the
same. The outcome of literature survey was shared with industry experts and academicians and
their inputs were used for developing an initial model of competitiveness of Indian autocomponent
sector. Using data collected through structured survey, the theoretical model was
statistically tested and suitably modified.
