The research study explored this issue by studying present level of gender inclusion in Indian
Army. It also examined recruitment, training and employment pattern of women officers of

Indian military and U.S. military in depth and the transition in employment policies of
women officers of Indian Army at length. The impact of recruitment, training and
employment policies of Indian Army on gender inclusion was analysed empirically. The gaps
that have emerged from the research study highlight need for changing and updating the
policies of recruitment, training
