through preliminary surveys, review for creation of risk factors towards formulating risk
assessment model, application and analysis of datasets to risk models created, need of more
effective technique for improvement in the risk assessment due to problems of earlier
techniques, proposed and new methods implementation through model programmatically.
These have contributed towards creation of IT Project risk assessment framework with
above mentioned risk assessment model to bring said improvement in IT project risk
management with various contributions with major contributions of risk factor structure and
risk assessment methods. We are proposing usage of Shannon’s information entropy
concept, technique as an effective technique to reduce subjectivity of risk assessment as
well as ease of use besides other implemented effective methods of risk assessment like
manual method of risk assessment, fuzzy technique based risk assessment method using the
model.
